JAPAN, YOGOGI 2ND GYMNASIUM
On April 17, 2022, the Kyokushinkan Kancho Inauguration was held in conjuction with the All Japan 2022 Spring tournament. Before the inaugaration ceremony, Kancho Royama, together with Shihan Okazaki and Shihan Koyama performed the Tensho kata.
Kancho Royama was appointed as Kaicho, passing the torch on to his successor, Shihan Okazaki as the new Kancho of Kyokushinkan. Shihan Koyama Akio was appointed as Director of the International Headquarters of the Kyokushinkan.
President Umeda of the Kyokushin Scholarship Foundation appointed and presented the certicates to Kancho Royama, Shihan Okazaki and Shihan Koyama.
