Rochester, New York 2025 “Ring Wars” Tournament

On March 1, 2025, the Historic German House in Rochester, New York, hosted “Ring Wars” the 2025 tournament, presented by Shihan Rene Cruz. The event attracted top Kyokushin fighters from around the world.

The final fight featured an electrifying performance by Sensei Hujatullah Samizada, a long time and dedicated student of Shihan Seyar Azadani. Sensei Samizada has found a home as a prominent instructor at the Azadani Kyokushinkan Karate Dojo in Saint Augustine, Florida. Demonstrating immense skill and an unmatched spirit, Sensei Samizada gave a Great performance, earning the respect of many. Sensei Samizada’s outstanding performance and spirit proves he fully embodies the true essence of Kyokushin karate.

At New Yorks 2025 “Ring Wars” Tournament, Sensei Samizada was honored with the distinguished “Best Fighting Spirit” trophy, recognizing his relentless determination and unique warrior mindset in the ring.

Looking ahead, Sensei Samizada is preparing for the Kyokushin-kan World Championships in Japan, scheduled for November 2025. His divine dedication and perseverance continue to inspire students at the Azadani Dojo and the Kyokushin karate community.

Shihan Seyar Azadani

Shihan Seyar Azadani has trained hundreds of Karate students, and his students have achieved numerous World Championship titles and European and Asian Championships medals. Shihan has participated as a Kumite and Kata competitor in numerous championships and has won titles and medals, including winning the Kata competition 1st position in the 2011 All North America Kyokushin-kan Championships and winning the 2019 All Japan Senior Kumite Championship. He travels to Japan regularly to continue learning Karate from Japanese grandmasters. During the 2008 international Kyokushin-kan Instructors Seminar, he was tested and approved for his 4th-degree black belt in Japan by Kaich Hatsuo Royama. In 2015, Shihan was awarded his 5th Dan after passing the belt test in Japan. In 2015, Kaicho Hatsuo Royama told him that he was under observation for the Renshi-Shihan title and that he should prepare for his Renshi-Shihan test to take in Japan.
