Azadani Kyokushin Karate

Kyokushin-kan Asian Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

The Kyokushin-kan Asian Championship will be taking place November 30 – December 1, 2024, bringing together top martial artists from across the continent to showcase their skill, spirit, and dedication to the way of Kyokushin.

This prestigious event will be honored by the presence of Kaicho Hatsuo Royama, the founder of Kyokushin-kan and one of the most respected figures in the world of martial arts. His attendance reinforces the significance of the championship and the values of discipline, perseverance, and legacy that Kyokushin embodies.

Representing our very own St. Augustine, Florida Kyokushin-kan Dojo, 6th Dan Black Belt Shihan Seyar Azadani will be among the competitors. Shihan Azadani will take part in the Kata category, carrying with him not only his years of experience and dedication but also the spirit of his students and community back home.

This championship is not only a competition, but also a celebration of Kyokushin-kan’s living legacy—an opportunity to witness martial artists pushing beyond their limits in pursuit of the “Ultimate Truth.”
