COSTA RICA, PAN AMERICAN SCHOOL
During the seminar hosted by Costa Rica at the Pan American School on August 26th and 27th, 2022, Shihan Azadani made a notable participation. Among the 150 participants from Costa Rica, America, Canada, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, and Uruguay, Shihan Azadani’s presence added great value to the event. As a respected martial artist and one of the Shihans in the seminar, Shihan Azadani shared valuable insights and knowledge, contributing to the success of the seminar.
The event also witnessed the appointment of Sensei Mauricio Carranza, the Costa Rica branch chief, as an International Committee member responsible for coordinating activities in Latin America. Assisting him in this role were esteemed advisors, Sensei Jose Olmeno from the Chile branch and Sensei Omar Campora from the American branch.
During the seminar, Shihan Ligo, the American branch chief, undertook and successfully passed the Shihan Renshi test, earning the title of Renshi Shihan, a well-deserved achievement. Moreover, Sensei Manuel Hernan Villarroel Altamirano, the Chile Branch Chief, demonstrated his martial prowess and dedication by passing his Dan grading and ascending to the rank of 5th Dan.
Congratulations were extended to Shihan Ligo and Sensei Manuel for their impressive accomplishments, and heartfelt appreciation was expressed to Sensei Mauricio and Costa Rica for organizing and ensuring the success of the memorable seminar. Shihan Azadani’s active participation and the dedication of all participants contributed to the event’s success and left a lasting impact on the attendees.
