Yesterday Sunday April 6, 2025 brought to close the Kyokushin-kan 2025 Seminar with Kaicho Royama in Poland. Over 600 Kyokushin-kan participants from across the globe gathered in Poland for a powerful seminar. This immaculate event was led by legendary instructors such as Kaicho Hatsuo Royama and Shihan Ishijima. For ones who may not know, Kaicho Royama is head of the Kyokushin-kan International Karate Organization. Among these magnificent participants was a highest degree 6^th Dan Black Belt Shihan Seyar Azadani, as he proudly attended to support Kaicho Royama. Shihan Azadani represented our local Kyokushin karate Azadani Dojo in St. Augustine, Florida.

This annual event is one of the most respected gatherings with in the world of Kyokushin karate. The event offered direct access to wisdom of the art from the highest of instructors` such as Kaicho Royama himself. Royama is a superb living disciple of the Kyokushin Karate founder and master Mas Oyama.

Shihan Azadani Experiences at the Seminar

The weekends overall focus wrapped around the fundamentals and the growing perfection of Kyokushin-kan Karate. It brought many refinements from the art in advanced kata, realistic methods in self-defense, kumite development and organizational grading standards updates

The presence of Kaicho Royama deeply reminds us all the true spirit of Kyokushin-kan. He reminds us all to train the mind and body as one and that perseverance, is the spirit of never giving up.

Azadani Dojo Proudly Represented St. Augustine Florida

Shihan Seyar Azadani, a senior leader in the Kyokushin-kan international community and founder of the Azadani Dojo in St. Augustine, proudly represented his students by attending the event. Shihan Azadani often supports technical demonstrations and contributes to advanced instructor-level sessions when he attends events. His participation in worldwide Kyokushin events elevates our local dojo and reinforces the connection between our community and the global Kyokushin-kan network.
