Shihan Seyar Azadani has trained hundreds of Karate students, and his students have achieved numerous World Championship titles and European and Asian Championships medals.
Shihan has participated as a Kumite and Kata competitor in numerous championships and has won titles and medals, including winning the Kata competition 1st position in the 2011 All North America Kyokushin-kan Championships and winning the 2019 All Japan Senior Kumite Championship.
He travels to Japan regularly to continue learning Karate from Japanese grandmasters. During the 2008 international Kyokushin-kan Instructors Seminar, he was tested and approved for his 4th-degree black belt in Japan by Kaich Hatsuo Royama. In 2015, Shihan was awarded his 5th Dan after passing the belt test in Japan.
In 2015, Kaicho Hatsuo Royama told him that he was under observation for the Renshi-Shihan title and that he should prepare for his Renshi-Shihan test to take in Japan.
